when i searched the web for crock pot recipes when i started this project, i came across several called “crack chicken.” apparently, this stuff is so addicting it’s earned itself a little nickname. well, i needed to try it, so i added a couple of ingredients and came up with this!! i have to admit, it is pretty good!
creamy ranch chicken
2 bricks of cream cheese
2 packets of ranch seasoning
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup of ranch dressing
3-4 medium chicken breasts trimmed
soften the cream cheese and add the ranch seasoning, ranch dressing, and garlic powder. mix well. spray crock pot with cooking spray. add chicken to the crock pot and spread the cream cheese mixture over the chicken. cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours. take the chicken out of the crock pot and shred it. return to the crock pot and stir well. serve on buns with shredded cheese, or in a wrap, on crackers.
