On top of that, our schedules are crazy, and if I happen to drop the ball one day and not plan ahead, I will usually just order takeout.
One of the reasons I love my crock pot so much is that I can fix dinner in the morning, and it’s ready for us later when my motivation for the day is gone, or when we have something we are rushing to.
That said, there are days I just don’t think about what to put in the crock pot in the morning, and lately, those days have ended up being the biggest waste of money for us. (Do you have any idea what it costs for a family of 6 to go out to eat??!! It’s disgusting…) That’s why I’m all over any 15 minute dinner recipes for families!
So, I went did a little digging this weekend, and found 25 recipes that I can make in 15 minutes! SCORE!!

Having meals in mind that can be whipped up in 15 minutes makes a huge difference for us. I always think I don’t mind spending money on take-out every now and then. Then I pay the bill, the food is gone in 30 minutes tops, and I totally regret wasting that money. Plus, more often than not, the food we resort to in those situations isn’t anything to write home about. I’m looking forward to trying these out.
